Asked by GuruDKRZ2 Sep 09, 2017 at 10:26 AM about the 2000 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E 320

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought 2000 E320 that guy had sitting for
4-6 months. Very well maintained inside
and out, under the hood etc. 146,000 on
this car, but when I got it home the car
would get stuck in 3rd gear. Only in 3rd
which causes me to let Rpm go down so it
shifts manually. Put on new conductor
plate, filter, speed sensor, the whole kit.
Still doing the same thing. What could the
issue be? Pls help I love this car. This is my
4th mercedes

I don't know but don't drive it like that you'll make it worse , , have it taken care of , there's probably a reason it was sitting around .
