okay...well there's a troublesome lighting module and some relay choices (compare)...but honestly with ALL the computer troubles comes back to BAD ground which happens when the battery is starting to get onto five years old...repeated starts of 300 cold cranking amps leads to a corroded MAIN ground connection...which unfortunately this lighting module shares....so grab a wirebrush and find the end of the black battery cable and coarse wirebrush the end of the cable and the area that it bolts to (corroded) make it shiny with the wirebrush and re-connect to allow the 300 plus cold cranking amps (welding amperage) on through~

oh yeah...buy a NEW battery immediately...modern tin/antimony alloy car batteries only last about five years before they start making the alternator overtime to try to charge them up....GET A NEW battery...please~ ten percent per year failure to accept a charge...I've been told by the expert on the subject~
the problem with the daylight driving light control is that it works well but it won't turn off all the time
the battery ground is sparkling clean, the alternator and the regulator were changed recently, the (MB) battery is about 5 years old and was checked recently. The dealer recommended to change the Driving light control module part number A 016 545 74 32. I have one in my hands now but cannot locate to position.
