How do I remove a Starter on a 1978 Toyota Corolla five speed wagon.

The starter on my 1978 5 speed Toyota Corolla Wagon seems to be impossible to access. Any suggestions?

There doesn’t appear to be any real videos on how to do it, so I recommend you try your local library for a shop manual that you can photocopy what you need. It’s been too long that even I can’t remember how to do it.

When working on something this old it's always a good idea to have a factory shop manual or some other kind of repair manual. Try your local library or auto parts store for a repair manual. You might be able to find a shop manual on ebay or Faxon Auto Literature. Faxon has a website. Jim
