Hi dose a BMW x5 2004 model have a key lock on the boot as my central locking isn't working and the divers door lock is just spinning and not locking or opening thanks

I have a 94 740 il. Same oroblem. Bmw has a great system. My 740 is very tempermental, as goes BMW . Try resetting the lock s by turning the lift gate lock left then right, then crank the engine but don't start it then do the driver door. Left then right..supposedly this resets the system. If it happens to lock up and i mean lockes up like ft knox use thepassenger door tur ni the key left 1/4 of a turn while lifting the handle this will pop it. It could also be the lock accetunator is broke. $18 on line.... worth a shot hopefully helps.... I'm getting An x5.
