Car wont shift

Asked by Nick Jun 01, 2016 at 09:03 AM about the 1997 Volkswagen Golf 2 Dr GL Hatchback

My 97 golf will not go into gear it will just grind, I
have to turn the car of to try to get it into gear
most the time it won't work, I replaced the clutch
master cylinder and the slave master cylinder I
have tried to research and haven't fond a whole lot
of any one could help it would really be appriciated

Sounds like you should try bleeding the hydraulic system again- probably air still in it- I hate those hydraulic clutches- I would just pay someone else to do it- good luck-
