Question type: Maintenance & Repair

hello, i have an automatic 2000 vw golf. there is a problem with the
transmission that i just can't seem to fix. i will put the car in drive and it will run
great it will shift into second and great. but when it tries to go into 3rd gear it
will act as if it was in neutral and just rev up. i have changed all the speed
sensors on the car, the fluid twice, also the filter. and i have also changed the
transmission solenoids. <<<<<<<< i thought that was going to fix it but noo... lol. anybody have a clue of what it could be. please let me know.

Since you changed fluid and filter already try add some Lucas Transmission Stop Slip to transmission. Do not over fill remove same amount from fluid from transmission as on the bottle of Lucas. No promises that it is going to work but worked for me when I had a similar problem.
