I need to know how much parts for changing a lower rod bearing
in a 1999 Chevy suburban 1500 Lt cost and how much in labor

Parts: cheap. Labor: a lot. You're looking at a lower end rebuild.

If the rod bearing has spun and damaged the crankshaft the engine will need to be removed and likely replaced. Very few rod bearings that go bad leave the crankshaft undamaged.

So how would I know if my 04 suburban 6.0 quadrasteer needs the whole bottom end rebuild or just a flexplate replacement ??
