I have a 98 jetta gt with a 2.0 and i would like to put in a vr6 how much work would be involed to do so

Yes you can do it, but it will cost you. The trans is different too (different ratios). If you have the money for the VR swap you might as well go turbo while you're at it. VRT>2.0T
