2000 volkswagen jetta fuse

I have a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta GL. I got an in dash DVD Navigation tough screen installed. for it to work while i am driving the parking break needs to be engaged one click(so the break isn't actually applying pressure but the car thinks it is on) The only problem is then the audible tone beeps the whole time and gets really annoying. Any solutions?? is there a fuse i can pull to stop the audible tones? I sure hop so. Thanks

There should absolutely be a fuse to shut off the beeping! I would assume there would be a fuse to shut it off. Check the fuse box map to see if links the parking brake to a fuse. If not I would give a quick call to a VW dealer and ask them which fuse it is.

1. DO NOT PUT THE BRAKE ON 1 CLICK. You might not be able to feel it, but it is grabbing. 2. There is a reason that you can't watch it. It is illegal, and down right STUPID to try to watch a DVD while driving.
