2000 jetta turns over but wont start!!!!!

car started sputtering when trying to accelerate and wasnt seeming to get gas. replaced the plugs wires and coil pack. When was in low gear it would sputter so bad it would lose power. changed the fuel filter and checked the fuel pump (basic check) and will start sometimes but wont start others. always turns over just wont catch. sprayed ether into the throttle body it started and ran fora few mins then just cut off. the throttle body was cleaned out bc of an oil leak when the coil and plugs were replaced. ran fine for a couple months then bam same problems. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Check fuel pressure with a gauge how many PSI and have the vehicle scanned for DTC codes auto store can do this for no fee, Except in California its illegal to do this.

i have a2000 vw jetta with a 2.0 car will start and run but when you turn it off it will not start back up for 2 to 5 hours.have change the (1. the fuel filter(2. fuel pump(3.map senso.(4.spark plugs and wires (5 thrott body has been clean(6.o2 senso bank 1 anybody got idea
