2000 VR6 Running rough

Hissing sound coming from vaccum area. Took off from a light and all the sudden all the bells and whistle went off. Runs a little rough while idiling and while under 3000 rpms. Anyone?

well if you hear a hissing then did you start off with the vacuum hoses? spray some water while the engine is running and see if it bubbles anywhere. a vacuum leak could be causing a weird idle.

It sounds like a coil pack find the location of your coil pack on the 2002 model it's usually where the spark plug plug goes into the manifold...find out wich one is bad by examining the base for a discoloration if you see it use a ball peen hammer and just beat the piss out of it take the now smashed coil and just jam it back in place....let me know if I can be of further help
