2002 jetta will not start, replaced all fuses and crank shaft censor,

Asked by Corrie Jul 24, 2016 at 11:09 PM about the 2002 Volkswagen Jetta GL TDI

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok...to make a long story short. The car world fire and run for a short while and
then stall. So the person before me took all of the fuses out (don't ask me why).
I checked, or replaced them and I also crossrefrenced to make sure the correct
amperage was used. Then i replaced the crankshaft censor. Still a no go! The
battery is fully charged and the engine is cranking/turning over but will not fire.
Am I missing a safety/security feature?  The imobilizer is not the problem and
any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

check the coil pack for voltage and if they pulled all the fuses i would recommend going over all the wiring harnesses you can see and relays to be sure they are all plugged in.
