in intake duct between charge air cooler and intake manifold
Would this be the same location for a 2000 tdi jetta?
hi I was told there is some sort of wast gate that is off the turbo.Once this '' flapper" valve wears out it allows the boost from your turbo to blow by losing all your turbo boost!!! take care
My Haynes book had the MAP sensor in the wrong spot. On the 2000 Jetta it is just to the front of the windshield washer reservoir. I removed the reservoir and could access it easily. Turns out a broken wire (right next to a bunch of empty acorns that were under the reservoir??) was causing the p1156 code. Which is enough of a code to fail the Mass safety inspection!
I have a 2004 Jetta TDI and cannot seem to find the right driver to remove the fasteners for the MAP sensor. Anyone know what the tool is?
