brake lights not working--

Hello, I'm not sure about the full history of this question or who may have answered it originally, but perhaps what he or she meant is to check the relays and wires. As cars age, wires can loosen and relays can stop working. These are usually two culprits in brake lights not working. Best of luck! CarGrrl

In my case it was a bad brake light switch. In some cases it can be in the turn signal switch. The brake lights and turn signals are connected through the turn signal switch. Are the turn signals working correctly? If they are, then check the brake light switch.
