how do i reset the clock on beetle cabriolet 1996

clock only on when stopped.  when moving shows kph.

I'm sure that info is in the owners manual, I don't have one handy.

The manual does not help me .only reads clock when car is moving registers Kpm when moving. Any suggestions?
