i need to see if its the fans not getting power or not to work or if its something else how do
i ground the wire and how do i attach other end to positive on battery

Can you disconnect the wires at the fan itself or (if you follow the wires)disconnect it somewhere along the line and make your own "fused" power line and ground wire to test the fan ?
