Lost my key. How do i start my VW beetle and keep it running?

I lost my key. and i dont have any duplicate. I tried to use other keys, it starts but then
suddenly goes off. What should i do? Please help.

yep what tom said is true. A new key at the dealer is roughly 300$. so its either find that key or go shill out the cash for a new key.
