That is an old car- so the entire ignition system will need restoration- and the entire fuel system too-

I have a 99 vw Passat drove it turned it off 10min later tried to start it and it won't turn over but I have power to windows lights just had fuel filter replaced and its a new battery 1 Answer

It doesn't make any noise when I try to start it but there's power tried to jump it and still nothing the battery is new 3months old just replaced fuel filter. Could it be the starter or fuel pump.....

I have a 2006 VW Passat. During the summer my car will start up and drive fine like nothing is wrong with it. Then maybe an hr or two later it will just stall on me. I sit for about 30 to 45 minutes and it starts back up no problem. A couple times the check engine light came on after I started it again but will go off by time I made it home or the next morning. 6 Answers
