rodent infestation

Asked by Guru8DVZD Dec 23, 2019 at 08:41 PM about the 2006 Volkswagen Passat 2.0T

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In the last 6 months I noticed a stench in the cabin of my 2006 VW Passat and
a detailer said that rodents may be living somewhere in the vehicle.  They are
not in the interior.   Then I noticed a rodent crawl out of the exterior vent on the
driver side as I drove along.  How do I get rid of this problem???

Where do you park at night? Set some traps?

Also since they seem to be in the trunk area get some mothballs and put them in the trunk. If these are small critters like mice set some traps in the trunk, as TDolby said, or put some poison pellets in the trunk. Hope that helps! Jim
