I can't find any evidence that the Camaro rears had posi-traction, but it may be also referred to as a limited-slip differential. This has been pretty standard on most newer cars so in answer to your question, I would say "yes, I believe so." A VIN number of a vehicle you had in mind would allow a dealer to decode the options it came with.
