Brake and Slip lights on after new tires put on

Asked by GuruM1FRL May 22, 2020 at 01:31 PM about the 2006 Nissan Xterra Off-Road

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my tires replaced at Town Fair Tires. They also recalibrated the low tire
pressure sensor. Driving home, both the brake and slip indicator lights when on.
They went off when I started the car the next day. Two days later, they come on
and stay on. Coincidence or something else?   (I just had my brakes replaced
one year ago). Is there any easy fix without going to the dealer?

1 Answer

Maybe they damaged a wheel speed sensor or a wire going to one of the sensors. An independent mechanic will save you money over dealer prices.
