Asked by GuruDGR3L Oct 08, 2017 at 07:10 PM about the 2006 Jeep Commander Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just noticed: when idling,  the temp gauge goes to hot.  But
once you accelerate it goes back to normal placement. Fan
motor is working.

Sounds like "low coolant" or the fan may be running at low speed (some cars have 2 speed fans) Is the AC on when this happens?
