Metal clicking noise while driving with vibration sometimes.

Asked by Aaron Dec 23, 2017 at 01:40 AM about the 2007 Ford Edge SEL AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was told by a shop, that I have a bad front cv axle
So I checked both & didn't see any grease or
busted boots but one did have a broken ring that
works with the abs sensor. But the car is making a
metal clicking noise while driving with vibration
sometimes. What could it be?

Your symptoms as described could well be a CV axle. If you don't like the prognosis the first shop gave you take it to another one.
