technically, no. You need to remove the struts and elongate the mounting holes.

I guarantee you don't need to 'elongate' any holes to do an alignment on this car... Haven't done one on it, but machineing generally isn't part of routine alignment... Are you thinking about installing an adjustable camber brace? Because that's not the same thing as adjusting camber...

I stand corrected, according to Hunter (they make alignment equipment), on the Matrix, there is a small camber adjustment built into the car as it comes from the factory. If more of an adjustment is needed, you need to install eccentric bolts. Also, some manufacturers do specify the elongating of strut mount holes to adjust camber, but I'd like to see a shop which routinely does that for no additional cost to the customer

There is an adjustment for the front camber. What you do is losen the struts 22 mm bolts and put a camber bag between the strut and the wheel and inflate the camber bag with air and it should do. You can also have an asistant pull on the wheel while you retighten the struts bolts. This is an adjustment for vehicles with no type of suspension modifications.If the car has been lowered then you might need to get a camber kit or a camber bolt.

Own a 2006 Matrix, just got front end aligned, mechanic says that its a known problem with Toyota's (front passenger camber adjustment) the fix is aftermarket camber bolt. Research on internet confirmed what mechanic said, will go back and have it done.

How about rising the front end of a Toyota Matrix, is ther just an adjustment screw to rise it?
