Why does my van overheat with the a/c on when stopped in traffic or at a long light?
The a/c starts blowing warmer air and the temp gauge goes toward hot. Is fine one starts moving again.

Your cooing system is not up to par. But you already know that. First, check your thermostat. It might not be opening at the correct temperature. Next, get your cooling system flushed if the thermostat isn't the problem. There are additives that will disparate heat from the cooling system. I think one of them is called WETTER WATER . Frankly, I'd flush the cooling system.
