I have a 96 camaro wont start changed computer
got a new key bought a box to bypass security
system. When the key is on the speed will set on
50 and the milage will keep going up while sitting
still car will not start cranks but runs battery down

Bought a box to bypass security? There is your first mistake. Messing around with the security system or the computer can cause all kinds of problems. If it doesn't start how did you get it up to 50? I would seriously recommend that you get your car to a qualified mechanic to get it straightened out.
That's the problem when you hack up the starting/ignition circuit and anti-theft. Agree w/ Bob, need to go to someone who knows what they are doing to be fixed.
Before we changed anything the car woyld crank but not start and the speed would come up to 50 and milage would go up without moving. The person we talked to said to buy this box to bypass security system. He was a local mechanic. When we put the new computer in it started and ran for 2min then stop and now does the same thing. Put a new fuel pump in also.
