I believe you need to do it through engine compartment. I looked at info for 3.1L engine. If the blower motor was mounted from engine compartment, you can't remove it from interior. my opinion. If you get blower motor loose, under the hood, you may have enough space to remove squirrel cage, then remove the motor and cage separately?

I heard something drop down in my glove compartment area and then my fan which was on started making a humming sound. I immediately turned the fan off. So, I am under the impression that it's the compartment underneath my glove compartment. My Corsica is now trying to run hot. I will have to get it replaced ASAP.
