Question type: Maintenance & Repair
We are at a dead end cause we don't know what else to do for this car. We have replaced pretty much everything and the car won't start. Plus we have put ether in there as well as taking and putting spark plugs to the block and we get spark. How likely is it that I may have jumped time? (this all started when I ran the car out of gas) please help!

are you talking about the intake hose? If so yes, also have K&N air filter intake
No the parts between the throttle bobby and heads
does it turn over? If not, you may have a problem with your anti-theft key- try cleaning it off, wait 10 min. and try again- if the key gets greasy on the black part it won't read properly- clean it with warm soapy water, dry it off and wait 10 min. and try it again.
If those are plastic and you shot with ether intake probably cracked.
no it doesn't turn over at all. the hose is plastic/rubber
I had aftermarket alarm system rigged w/ house cord (bought it like that didn't know) would that have anything to do with the car not starting cause we had to disconnect battery and fix everything?
try the key fix- people often pick up their keys by the middle and if that black part gets lots of finger oils on it, it won't read properly- if that doesn't work, did you check the starter solenoid?
try completely removing the aftermarket alarm and see if it works- those often are the cause of the problem.
MY JEEP DID THAT AND THE FUEL LINE CAME IN CONTACT WITH A HEAT SOURCE AND BURNT IT IN HALF - LAST THING I CHECKED AND REPLACED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
