Any ideas?  It feels like it isn't getting air and husband thinks maybe a fuel pump.  Thanks.

It did this a few weeks ago. It was really hot outside like over 100 and I had heard that the heat was killing the batteries in cars. After my mechanic could not find anything, I asked about the battery. The car has 134,000 miles on it and it was the original battery so I had it replaced. Now it is chugging again. We live out in the country so I didn't have to deal with any stop lights and just came straight home. My check engine light comes on about once a week and then it goes off for a few days.
