can i use a transmission from a vehicle other than a 2001 yukon xl to work in mine?
my transmission won't shift into 3rd gear. But everything else is fine. I can drive all day .
But i8 can't go faster than 40 mph.

2002 Yukon Xl 2500. New battery, dead in 5 days of sitting. Assuming it is a key-off drain.Recharging with trickle charger produces clicking and popping noises from dash area and console.
