Lighting issue

Asked by Bwilliefish Oct 19, 2018 at 09:10 PM about the 2007 Subaru Forester 2.5 X L.L. Bean Edition

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am having an issue with my 07 forester.
The smallest bulb in the headlights are
remaining on when everything is turned off. I
checked out the fuse box under the hood
and i pulled a 20 amp fuse labeled lighting
switch and they went off. Could I have a
short somewhere? And how do I fix?
Thank you
Fish

Check the switch atop the steering column! It's a simple rocker switch with the letter "P" printed on it. It's likely rocked forward right now, just rock it aft and you should be good to go.
