What is the difference between the block of a 2007
2.5i and a 2.5L I threw a rod on my block and
looking to replace with a used motor and wanting
to make sure the one I get will work

No difference, it's a 2007 2.5 boxer FOUR......my advice is get a remanufactured engine...not a used engine.... you'll be much better off if you can afford to do that.
