Can you buy extended warranty for bmw
m6? Is it expensive?
Shop around and see. Be sure and do your due diligence as some warranties are pretty much a fraud.
I bought an extended 166,00 ml warranty from CarSure, but it was expensive. 6,000.00 over an 18 month payment plan. power train plus plan 844-757-0937
You will not find many that will. None will be inexpensive. Better to buy these cars with the knowledge to budget 5000 on top of the purchase price, and drive directly to a reputable certified bmw repair shop and replace the rod bearings and smg pump. You will have in effect eliminated the only issue that will put that car in the scrap yard. The rest of its life with you will not be inexpensive...but you will grow to not care because this is an incredible and special machine
Rip. 24g purchase price cash from private owner, smg pump both vanos, high pressure oil pump fail within the first 2 weeks. 6 months in the shop waiting for the rod bearings to ship..in the meantime took it back and drove minimally until the clutch failed. Back to the shop, new performance clutch shroud and flywheel installed, mechanic turned the #5 bearing on the installation qc drive...the worst news ever. The race was scored beyond repair...do the bearings immediately
