estimated 90K if you were the original driver of this vehicle and if you were properly driving a clutch vehicle, no touch to the pedal no drop clutch and surely no driving while cluthch is half engaged. Howeevr, if you got the car from soemone else, good luck as he/she might be spinning wheels and/or has no clue how to drive clutch cars. cost to replace such is an estimated $1500 with parts, and i know becasue i had an M3 manual and this is how much it cost me when time came to replace it. expensive as it was done by the delaer and DO NOT let anyone fool you to do it anywhere but there.

The above answer is seconded by my experience. 56g before my clutch went out. Which is young. So the p.o. Drove this car ruthlessly. Confirmed by the second week of ownership my car threw the smg pump, both vanos needed replacement, high pressure oil pump gave up, the computer did not want to relearn the timing and kept skipping. Flashed the computer to factory spec still no dice..replaced computer..i was nearly 30g into repairs when the clutch went. I went with a performance clutch and flywheel and replaced the shroud because the flywheel broke teeth when the clutch went out..and on the test drive to qc the clutch install. The #5 bearing spins on the cam. Dust
