Chevy Camaro Z28 93

Asked by Lashun Mar 30, 2017 at 02:07 PM about the 1993 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had head gaskets replaced in car and ran fine
for a few weeks now starting to go up in temp then
eventually will float back down and back up.
There's really no leak coming from under the car I
have it at a shop and the guy said it could be my
thermostat or my water pump hopefully it's the
thermostat

Check the coolant level and purge the air out of the system. Are you losing any coolant?

No I'm not when the car is just sitting wit will float up after I turn the car on then when I would drive a little it will float back down then back up

He replaced my head gaskets the first time and would say 2 To 3 weeks after its starting to overheat again
