Remote start starts then dies, if you remote start again, it starts fine

Asked by Zachary May 05, 2023 at 01:18 AM about the 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I sent my pcm into zzp to get it tuned, now the car
doesn't want to remote start the way it should, it would
start then immediately die, then if you remote start
again, it sounds weak but does eventually start after a
couple of seconds. If you use the key to start it starts
just fine. It had no CEL.

I’m surprised the remote work at all, usually those place remove unnecessary programs unless you specify to leave it alone. Call their customer service, you may need to send it back.
