2007 pontiac possible electrical issue?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GT (3800
supercharged) that has given me nothing but
problems. My engine light came on 30 minutes
after buying it coding fuel pump failure. Instead, it
was my alternator and battery. i switched out the
alternator and a few days later had a new battery
put in. After putting in the battery, my starter
immediately quits on me. Does anyone know what
could be causing all of this?

I agree. Sounds like a worn out or improperly maintained car that has a bunch of stuff wrong with it. But don't despair. It's probably a good car that just needs some of those things taken care of. Scan it for codes, check the fuel pressure, and get someone knowledgable and trustworthy to look it over. Prioritize your repairs so you're not spending money on things that can wait. Also be sure what you have there. GTs are not supercharged, so is it a GT or is it a GTP, which would be supercharged? It's important to know that so when you do buy parts you get the right ones. Even things like brakes and fuel pumps, etc. etc. can be different between these two cars. Good luck. :)
By the way, the sudden failure of your starter sounds more like a bad ground or loose battery connection than an actual failed starter to me. Check all that out and if necessary have the starter tested before spending money on a new one. They are pretty reliable and rarely fail.
ill have that rechecked. thank you! & no, its a GT. 06-07 have series 3 supercharged engines in them lol well at least mine does.
OK. I just learned something. Just wanted to make sure you were on the right track with yours. :)
