2006 Sebring 2.7L v6 radiator fan does not come on - car overheats

Asked by curiousv Jun 09, 2017 at 03:07 AM about the 2006 Chrysler Sebring Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I understand it could be relay under hood or engine temperature sensor on
top towards passenger side next to intake and map sensor ..or next to
bleeder valve ..but is there any switch which actually activates radiator fan?

I believe the computer gets info and turns it on , are the fans getting power ? How long does it take to over heat ? The plastic blades get razor sharp , be careful if you're feeling around there .

you have the 3 relays the temp sensor my friend had the same problem what he did was run 2 wire of 16 gauge wire from the fans into his car and wired the to a switch but not there isnt a switch already in there
