How can I get the dash guages to work again.

Asked by gshawthorne Sep 29, 2012 at 06:45 PM about the 1996 Chrysler Town & Country LXi

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The odometer, speedometer, gas gauge, etc suddenly stopped working.   I got a new battery, but they
still don't work.  It starts and runs.

It sounds like you could have a bad ground or a poor connection! When did they stop working? After a fill-up? during heavy acceleration? Or just upon start-up? Does the dash lights turn on? Is there high moisture/water damage? I will difinately be able to help you, I just need to know some details.
