Anyone know any solutions that may help?

Asked by hookemhorns8197 Jan 20, 2023 at 12:42 AM about the 2000 Buick LeSabre Limited Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 lesabre that I replaced a maf sensor
on a couple weeks ago. Now it just makes a click
sound when trying to start it. I had a buddy come
over and we manually turned the engine over and it
started for a couple days but now its back to not
starting. Does anyone know anything that may
help?

Either the starter has gone bad or you have a voltage drop between the battery and the starter. Make sure the vehicle is in park and the park brake is set then while someone holds the key in the crank position use a hammer or rock and smack the starter, if it suddenly cranks the you have found your problem, the starter is bad. If it still only gives you one click then you need to run voltage tests on the cables.

Make sure the batt terminals are tight , make sure batt. is good and fully charged , could be a bad starter , don't buy cheap get OEM AC Delco parts . Why did you replace the MAF sensor , did that fix the problem ?
