How do I get the ignition unstuck, it locked up while I stopped

Have you tried turning steering wheel all the way to the left as you turn the key?

OK the stirring wheel is locked and the ignition turns freely ,how can I unstick the wheel

Turn wheel very hard left while turning key at the same time
