Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. Try cycling the key on and
off several times before you crank it, see if it helps? If it helps check your fuel system. Fuel
pressure, key on engine off, 60--66 psi fuel pressure. After it starts it will run with less
pressure. In the past, have seen service bulletins about poppet valves sticking with that
spider fuel system. The first start up of the day has a problem, after that the vehicle will
start and run fine the rest of the day, till it sits overnight, then the same problem, again.
The cleaning procedure I saw for poppets was a shop procedure. I don't know if you
changed out the poppets as well?
