loss of all power when I turn my key to the on position in my 98 chevy c1500

I turned my and just pulled out of the driveway and my
truck turn all the way off with no power and I was stuck in
the middle of the road and I had to push my truck out the
middle of the road but our is just that when I turn the key
turn on my lights or semifreddi's I lose all power in addition
to that even when I have my key off I have this ticking
sound from a relay under my Dash but I pulled it and it was
still more sounds

Sounds like a weak battery. Should be at least 12.4 Volts. When charging it should be at least 13.5 Volts or higher.
