my dashboard lights wont work and when i try to turn them on all my gadges drop. i know its an electrical problem but i dont know where to look and fix the problem.

my dash board lights don't work and when I go to turn them on all my gauges drop. none of my fusses are blown there all good.

Start with the switch. Then if that is not the problem, check for damaged, frayed or lose wires. When the power is turned on, something is shorting out. So power up to the switch is good, after the switch is suspect. Finding an electrical problem is easier that washing a tom cat though. Still painful.
