Hey guys I just bought my first truck it's a 95 chevy
silverado, it runs great! The only problem I'm
having is when I'm behind a couple cars at a stop
sign and have to barely touch the gas and let off to
inch forward it sputters and almost dies. It also
does it when im in reverse and barely touch the
gas to back. I've asked a lot of people about it but
nobody seems to know the problem. Thanks for
reading. Please let me know of anything you think
it might be. Thanks.

You can do a basic scan on a 1995....Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. write them down.
Ok I will try that thanks!
This could be a few things, one would be dirty injectors, run fuel injection cleaner threw, two would be the Throttle Positioning Sensor on the side of the TBI. That can be taken off and checked at Auto Zone. Another reason could be the fuel regulator is getting weak and need rebuilding, checking fuel pressure could tell the story. Also the EGR valve and system could be having a problem, bad EGR or vacuum leaks.

I just perchesed a 95 Chevy and it's doing somewhat of the same. Some times it runs great! Other times it will just spitter & sputter in every gearan no reason. I'm thinking ther might b water or bad gas in the line. It had a new fule punp put in b4 i bought it but there could be something in lines.unless u guys have any other suggestions?
I’m having the same problem. Sometimes it runs great and then when I park it for a couple of hours and hop back in it it’ll just sputter and die. I’ll have to keep giving it gas on and off for it to run then it finally kicks out of it. New Tank, Fuel pump, filter and strainer put on it this year, Think it could be a bad fuel line considering the truck sat for about 12 years in a garage.
