High flow cat or performance exhaust?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi m wanting to put a high flow cc in my jaguar x type, was wanting to know
if anyone has any info on this kind of work? A mate tells me the computer
will need adjusting when a high flow is installed as it will put the air flow ect
out of sync.... So any ideas of costs ect? Im wanting to get a nice roaring
sound from my exhaust and im told this would be the best way rather than
a high performance exhaust system.. Thanks for any help

If you want a full roar, I would prefer a performance exhaust. You wont have to mess with the computer to change codes and its just a lot more simple with less than or close to the same cash. you can do so much with an aftermarket exhaust but your options are limited with a highflow cat.
