different speeds and would shut off on me usually
after i got off the highway and last week i got
home after running around and went to start it the

Have the battery tested first. You should have over 12V with the car off. Any lights lit up on the dash when the car was bucking? If the Check engine light was on, there is a code stored in the system, scan for the trouble codes. You could have a vacuum leak, to a transmission problem. More testing is required. No mechanics in your area to help you?

Looking at the shaking/bucking/vibration, at about 40-45 mph if a tire is out of balance you will start feeling the vibration around this speed and as you increase speed it will increase the vibration. Ujoints, cv joints, bad motor/transmission mounts, even bad wheel bearings or ball joints (like tie rod or control arm) and bushings can also cause the vibration. Get the car in the air to where you can shake things around to track down the cause.
