How many miles now? This really depends on how well you maintain it and your repair budget.

i bought my 1998 Oldsmobile 88 almost a year ago at 119k miles, i now have roughly 152k on her now. the car has been wonderful to me. it rides smooth and gets great gas mileage. i have only had one big scare with it so far and it was just a simple tune up of a new coil packs, also added a new thermostat so the car would run cooler. change oil every 4-5k miles. rotate tires, check fluids. also had to add a ac compressor but that was nothing.. the 3800 series engines will truly run forever if you take good care of them. also have a buddy who has a 1998 Oldsmobile 88 and he just hit 360k miles...
