I purchased My Saab 9-5 SE wagon with a set of Aero wheels, the 17 inchers. The low profile tires help a lot with handling, but my wheels are so dinged up after 45K that I have a persistent vibration at around 65-75 MPH. Does anyone else have this problem? I've been told my the only way to correct this is to get new wheels. Bummer cause that's expensive.

Unfortunately low profile tires don't last as long as regular tires and will need to be replaced more often. When they start to get towards the end of their life you will start to feel vibrations at higher speeds.
make sure the tyres fitted are 94w rated as it makes a hell of a difference. if rating less than 94 then you get a fifty pence piece shaped tyre. take the car to an alloy wheel repairer and they will tell you if they are fubbered or can be repaired. about £50 a corner for a refurbishment
Yes I'm having the same problem. In my case, the back of the car is too low causing abnormal wear to my back tires and yes, you'll need to get new tires to get rid of the vibration and so am I...
I have the same problem - when I hit around 115kmh. I have been told I need new rims to fix it. As the max speed in my state is 110kmh I'm not bothered - actually, I never should have found out it was a problem... ;)
