sounds like the speakers are blown- might be time for a new 5000 watt stereo- put on Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" and live it up

The amp replacement is not going to fix it , this might be a good opportunity to upgrade to an aftermarket stereo, they are many double din stereo units that are less than 200 , I used Alpine 707 with a installation kit from mectra ,speaker replacements are simple , unscrew 3 screws take the door panel off.the size is 6.75 inch I have upgraded to Pioneer TS- D1720C, they are amazing much much better than stock speakers. In my case when i was having issues with my speakers I found that fixing the stock system will cost more than upgrading the whole system. But I do have my stock front speakers in perfect condition,if ur interested do let me know,
